Spiritual Courses, at Living in the Light, in Little Clacton.
Would you like to progress further, on the spiritual path? Would you like to live a genuine spiritual life; a life of Love, Compassion and Peace, in your day-to-day life? Do you want to learn deeper spiritual practices, to help you gain mastery over your mind? Would you like to attain Self-realisation?
The Way to Inner Peace is a new course, which can help you progress further on the spiritual path. It is a transformational course, with roots in ancient Eastern philosophy. It is based on Katarina’s many years of study, practices and experiences, which form part of ancient Hindu scriptures and their recommended practices. These practices may enable you to deepen your current spiritual practice and help you grow spiritually. You will learn the ways, of the wise, to help you attain inner peace.
Genuine spiritual growth takes consistent effort, time and the correct practices to yield results. We need proper guidance to release deep-rooted impressions from former lives and to release our negative tendencies and unwholesome habits, which are driving our behaviours and stand in the way of our inner peace. We must also to make a choice for Love instead of the ego, in each moment of our life, so as to make wholesome and conscious choices, as only those lead to peace.
The Way to Inner Peace course is designed to deepen your understanding of the spiritual practices required, for genuine spiritual growth, sustained inner peace, to set you on the path to equanimity of mind and for freedom from personal suffering. This course is aimed at helping you gain mastery of your mind.
The Way to Inner Peace course consists of theory, as well as practice. It delves right into the heart of spirituality, with more meditation and awareness practices. The course may assist you in cultivating greater awareness and connection with the deeper reality within. You will learn how to release stored impressions, negative tendencies, ingrained habits of behaviour and unwholesome mind patterns.
You will learn to implement many spiritual practices, such as selfless service practices, for reducing the ego, to let go of attachments and aversions, all of which stand in the way of peace. You will be guided to develop genuine Love, devotion and virtues. You will learn mantra meditation, in order to deepen your meditation practice and to help you cultivate greater awareness of your True Self. You will learn about scriptures, so that you can come to understand the sublime Truth.
You will learn about the inner enemies of the mind and the obstacles on the spiritual path, so that you can overcome them. This may set you on a path to experience greater inner joy and lightness of being, as well as greater freedom. Weekly home assignments are part of this course.
The Way to Inner Peace has its foundation in the four main spiritual paths of Sanatana Dharma: The paths of Selfless Service, Love & Devotion, Meditation and Knowledge. You will learn many daily practices, related to these paths, which may purify your mind and heart, in order to propel you towards peace and Self-realisation. You may be more suited to one path than others, yet all of the paths must be actively practiced to some degree or another, as they are interlinked. Together they promote the greatest spiritual growth and reflect the unity of life.
You will learn many things on the course, which are not well-known or much practised in the West. This course has its foundation in Katarina Tilley’s 23+ years of spiritual practices, such as meditation, observation, attentive awareness, Love & devotion, mantra chanting, selfless service, scriptural study and her experience of how to free yourself from personal suffering and lead a happy, contented and peaceful life, as prescribed by the ancient sages. This course will set you on the path, to becoming a messenger for Love and peace, to spiritual awakening (a glimpse of the enlightened state) and enlightenment (mastery of mind).
