Meet Katarina
Welcome.
I’m Katarina (also known as Saguna) - a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, Reiki Practitioner & Reiki Master and Spiritual Guide & Teacher.
I have spent the last 25 years actively learning about peace, love and happiness and would love to share what I have learned with you, to enable you to be genuinely happy. You can be so much happier than you currently realise.
This type of happiness that is being referred to here, is a genuine happiness that does not depend on outside factors. Happiness depends on training your mind, to be in the present moment. I can help you train your mind.
I will offer you support and guidance, to help you free yourself from identification with your negative thoughts and emotions, help you release unprocessed stored emotions, conditioning and limiting beliefs. This will help you to begin to heal your past. You will be encouraged to live in the present and let go of the anxiety related to the future.
You will furthermore receive support, so that you can begin to express yourself authentically and become a conscious creator of the life you want to live.
In summary, my life and work is essentially about spirituality; helping you on your journey to your true Self (beyond the body, mind and intellect).
The steps:
The first step is, helping you familiarise yourself with your mind, by observe your negative thoughts, negative feelings, negative limiting beliefs, bad habits and personality and more, through awareness and practice.
Next, teaching you how to live in the present and helping you to actively change your existing unwholesome patterns and habits.
Gradually, as you carry on with your spiritual practices and present moment living, you may experience greater calmness, some inner peace, better mood and gain some control over your mind (which reduces your suffering).
In due course, as you carry on your spiritual practices, you may gradually experience greater calm, embody more and more love, become more compassionate, experience greater peace, live more and more in the present moment, greater joy, experience some/more oneness, gain greater mastery of your mind and free yourself from your suffering.
My Approach
A little about my work…I work intuitively, with awareness and with a light heart, to enable you to reach greater possibilities. The qualities of love, peace and harmony are always present in my work, which has now spanned 28 years of professional practice.
It is my way to use any situation to help you grow spiritually. My aim is to assist and support you, in your journey towards wholeness. I do that through imparting spiritual teachings, increasing the level of awareness in yourself, by helping you identify negative, limiting patterns and/or core beliefs, that act as hindrances to your spiritual growth. Your beliefs create your perceptions and your life story and what you experience in your life and as such they are the cause of whatever issue you experience. By working at this level, I can help you alter your perspective on life and assist you in changing the course of your life. I encourage you in becoming a conscious creator of your life story, so that you can enjoy the ‘play’ of life and create a beautiful life for yourself and others.

Meditation
Daily meditation can help you begin to free yourself from suffering, as it brings about reduced mind wandering, greater concentration, inner calmness, greater self-awareness and clarity of mind - a place from which you can then explore the inner environment - your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Meditation improves focus, concentration, creativity and productivity. It improves sleep.
Research has proven that meditators have higher alpha and theta brainwave activity, than non-meditators, which are linked to reduced anxiety.
In addition, research shows that 20 minutes mindfulness meditation daily for 6-8 weeks can change the structure and function of the brain.
By learning to meditate you can gain a deeply peaceful state of being.
Reiki
Original Usui Reiki (Usui Reiki Ryoho) is a spiritual practice, which is deeply rooted in meditation, mindfulness and self-development, rather than just a hands-on practice, as it is often referred to in the West.
On the spiritual level Reiki can deepen your spirituality, increase your intuition, alignment with your Higher Self and spiritual growth. The soul is perfect and does not need healing.
On the mind & emotional level, Reiki can help you reduce stress, worry and anxiety, calm, relax deeply, unwind, balance and heal your emotions and leave you in a deep state of inner harmony and peace.
On a physical level, Reiki can reduce any physical symptoms of pain and enhance your body’s natural healing abilities.
Reiki improves your well-being on all levels of your being. Studies have demonstrated that Reiki activate the parasympathetic nervous system (reduces heart and blood pressure) and improves quality of life.
By attending a Reiki session or Reiki course with Katarina, you can start your journey of healing.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness can help you lower stress levels. Mindfulness reduces anxiety, worry and depression. The aim of of mindfulness is learning to come out of the mind, which is the cause of your suffering. Mindfulness enables you to observe your thoughts and emotions, without being overwhelmed by them. This leads to greater resilience.
Mindfulness can help you become more aware of your habits, reactions and thoughts patters, so that you can then go on and change those things that are unwholesome.
By attending a mindfulness course, you will learn the skill to live in the present moment.
Spiritual Growth Courses
Spirituality is the science that teaches us how to live happily in the world. Happiness is not found in the worldly objects, people or experiences. Happiness is found within. Everyone wants to be happy. Spirituality is the search for Truth and the journey to oneness with your inner Being/God. In truth, this is what we are all seeking, when we say that we want to be happy.
Spiritual growth relates to the inner work that we need to do to clear away all the negativity; such as our anger, fear, greed, ego, pride, delusion, jealousy, attachments, aversions, limitation, false imagination and more because all of these stand in the way of being able to be peaceful.
The ultimate aim of this spiritual growth journey is to lead us to the experience of bliss. Oneness is bliss, it is the embodying Unconditional Love, Peace and Joy, in all of life’s situations.
Whilst it is very good to meditate for 30 - 60 minutes daily, it is not enough. We have to develop awareness of our negative tendencies, weaknesses and correct them. We have to work through our conditioning, bad karma and acquire good karma instead.
In the ancient Hindu tradition, there are specific ways to achieve Self-realisation (the bliss of the Self), that relate to four paths: selfless service, devotion, meditation and knowledge. We need to to do a combination of these. They lead to wholeness.
Katarina has created an 8 week course, based on the above four paths and her own 25 year experience of practising these paths, which she learned and continues to learn from her Guru. By attending this course you can continue to increase your spiritual growth.
